School nurses care for kids

Welcome to the Health Office!
I look forward to caring for your children this year. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me @ [email protected] or call the school.

Medications in Schools

Prescription medications require a physician's written order and must be in the original container .
All medications also require a consent form from parent or guardian.
All medications should be transported to and from school by a parent or guardian.
All medications should be picked up by the last day of the school year by a parent or guardian or they will be discarded.

Medical Absences from School
Sick or injured students are not able to spend the day in the nurse's office. If your child is not able to attend classes or is contagious, please keep him/her home.

Do not send your child to school if he/she:
* Has a fever of 100 degrees or higher (or needs a fever reducing medication to be fever free).
* Has had a persistent cold or cough.
* Has had vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours.
* Has an unidentifiable skin rash.
* Has "pink eye" with itching and drainage.
* Has a contagious illness such as Chicken Pox or Strep Throat.
* Has active head or body lice.

Thank you,
